The sale report from September's dispersal sale at Wyevalley can be found on the Norton& Brooksbank website, or download a copy below.
A few members for the Irish Pure Friesian Club attended the sale. The day trip allowed them the opportunity to see Goonhilly Chad Verity (Ex-92-3) again, having so nearly brought her to Ireland a couple of years ago. By all accounts, she still looks a picture.
The report mentions a couple of the purchases by Carrickshock herd in the sample British Friesian purchases. We wish Pat & Claire the very best with the new arrivals.
The dispersal sale was titled "The FinalChapter" and the foreword of the catalogue is worth a read. In it, Dr E T Done MA VetMB DBR MRCVS gives an open and heart-breaking account of the reasons prompting the dispersal of his fine dairy herd.

On the day the sale was well organised and run by the auctioneers and they buyers were delighted with their purchases.
The Club would like to wish Eryl Done all the very best of health and success in this next phase of his life and career.
We look forward to reading many chapters from this new book he is about to start!
